Comfort Films 56: Clue

Comfort Films 56: Clue

For this last episode of our mystery month, we welcome special guest Jenn Riedell to discuss the cult classic murder mystery farce, Clue.  It's the best board game movie we can think of, commanding a huge nostalgic piece of real estate in all our hearts.  We talk about the stellar ensemble cast (including standout Tim Curry), the philosophy and meta-ness of the multiple endings, rewriting the movie into many different settings, and we do our best not to spend the entire 90 minutes just quoting lines from the movie, as unbelievably tempting as it is. Hope you're not planning on Lee Ving before the episode is over!  Grab a candlestick and meet us in the hallway...  Mr. Boddy's got it coming!

Jennifer Riedell

Jennifer Riedell has used their drama degree to entertain and educate for over a quarter century. Jenn met John and Georgia while working with the Worcester Shakespeare Festival, where Jenn acted and served as Business Manager for many seasons. Jenn has also appeared in Into the Woods at Calliope Productions, and in the world premiere Zoom production of Grocery: The Musical. By day, Jenn makes healthcare and Medicare regulations sound cool in their day job as a computer-based training designer, and in their free time, they volunteer as the curator at their local historical society. Jenn would also like to say that Clue is the movie they know Tim Curry from (whatever that says), and source of their deep love for character acting. Enjoy!
